1937 Ford Owners

Always loved the face of the '37 Ford. Finally caved to the lust and brought this home last May. Standard Tudor Slantback.

My son and I HAD one! It was really a nice coupe. It drove and stopped much better than my `35. It now resides in Texas.

Here are a few pics of my all original, never been restored 37 Tudor Standard V8-60, as found and after extensive careful cleaning and polishing.

Rouge winner in all categories.

I have a '37 coupe that I bought on Ford Barn earlier this year.
Shipped it down to New Zealand.
Installed a new Paul Bradley front floor and an original coupe rear floor.
New rear 1/4 panels and a new trunk rear panel.
Got an original '37 split style coupe seat on Ford barn - it's presently being recovered in the original syle.
Bought a nice original grille and dash on e-bay and I have a mint '37 radiator.
Overall it's coming together pretty good.

My 37 Flatback, finally got the doors on and working on the glass. Almost ready. This flathead really runs great.

Hello Ford Barn Folks,

Just joined the forum thinking it a good idea given I have just recently bought my first 37 Standard Sedan and know very little about them. It's a project car but I think it less of a project than some given it's extremely clean (no rust - Texas car) and the 13K miles on the speedo appears to be correct. The headliner is missing but I have all the bows and such. It's missing the interior panels and carpeting but everything else is there. It's powered by the 85 hp motor. I hope you guys are open to questions because I'm sure I'll have plenty; I'll welcome all recommendations and opinions. I have many boxes of parts to go through to find out exactly what all I'm going to need. The motor runs and doesn't blow any smoke which is nice. This was done without supplying fuel from the tank. Removing and cleaning the tank along with making sure the lines are super clean, or replaced, is currently a top priority.

Regards,

Mark
