1937 Ford Model 7W from New Zealand. Predecessor to the Ford Anglia and right hand drive. California title in my name.
Bone stock and all there. Body is really nice without any rust that I can find except for a few little places with surface rust. There are a few little dings and blemishes. Paint is only fair but it might be original. When you close the doors they sound better than some new cars.
Interior is really nice as well. Also has a very rare luggage rack.
I put a 6 volt battery in it and the engine won't budge. It may be something simple or not. Previous owner stated it ran just fine when I bought it something like 7-8 years ago. I bought 3 cars from him, pushed this one into storage and then never moved it. One of the other cars was a Model Y and it indeed ran good like he said it would. I haven't tried the third car I got from him, a Model 7Y yet to see if it runs which will be for sale soon.
I have several of these English/Australian Fords as in about 10-12. I can't possibly get or keep them all running. I turn 72 this year, had a couple of strokes and decided this year its time to downsize.
I'm asking $15,000 for the car and before some of you say “are you crazy” we have already established that by owning 10-12 of these cars! I have only seen one other 7W for sale in the United States and it was only a body shell. There weren't any fenders, doors, grill, engine, transmission, interior etc, just the body shell and it was $4,000 many years ago.
Asking $15,000 obo or possible trades. Also have 1940 Ford Coupe, 1941 Ford deluxe convertible (both on Ford Barn) and a Ford Thames not listed yet.
