Did Ford make a tonneau / boot cover for the car when the top is down? If so, would anyone happen to have the pattern of send me a reference for the pattern. Thanks in advance
Making a 1937 Ford V8 Convertible Cabriolet from a 1937 Ford Club Coupe.
The only open 1937 Fords that Ford Australia offered was a Club Roadster.
These days, they are few and far between. I haven't seen one in decades.
My mate located a 1937 Ford Club Coupe in poor condition, so decided to convert it into a Cabriolet, as he wanted a Convertible.
He had to create a template for the window glass and design all the mechanism.
This is the stage where he is up to. The door needs the outer skin attached.
He also had to make his own top irons for the roof.
