1937 cabriolet top irons

my friend says the top irons that are on my car are from a roadster, as they have a knee joint in the middle. apparently the cab ones are stiff allowing one to afix the rubber gaskets. can any one shoot me some info. and if this is the case i guess i'll need the proper header pieces. thanks.

Like Humphrey Bogart in "Casablanca", you've been misinformed. The weatherstrips surrounding the three exposed sides of the door glass in a '37 cabriolet consist of four separate sections, two of which are immediately above the center of the glass. The top irons fold at that point. That joint appears in the following photos.
