Hi,
new to the forum, I have been lurking for a while now utilizing all the great info here and have moved on to tackle a larger job now.... FLOORS !
i have a 37 Ford cabriolet/roadster that i have recently pulled the body off the frame for bodywork and floors, my old man had the floors done in the 70's from a guy who didnt really know what he was doing, they are galvanized sheet metal and have non-ford supports underneath there fore leaving no original referance to what goes where. They need to be cut out. There is no real rocker panels either...

i am in the early stages of deciding what to do and hopefully get some tips, or pictures from people who have done this job, if anyone has some underneath/ top pics of the floors , tips , advice that would be a great help !
body is off the car and fully braced and supported on dolleys.
thanks in advance

I would suggest joining up with your local EFV8CA chapter. They will be able to help with reference points and suggestions on how to go about repairing/replacing your floor. It is quite likely that someone in the club or a nearby member of Fordbarn actually has a floor you can take measurements and patterns off, or if you need to replace the entire floor, reproductions are available.

You may wish to consider starting a search for an original floor or at least the portion from the rumble seat cushion riser forward about 3 feet as no reproduces that part of the floor which is unique to the cabriolet and roadster.
