Garage cleanout sale,dissasembled 1937 Ford Flathead v8 engine,clean block,no visible cracks,one maincap needs repair,it has a crack near one of the boltholes,this is the no.2 cap,the block looks ok.there are fresh cam bearings in the block and it has been bored .060 over,you can still see hone marks in the cylinders,also included in this deal is a reground crankshaft with a gear on it,2 camshafts with gears on them(1 of these is new)2 oilpans,1 used oilpump with pickup(this is a good useable pump it is aftermarket and is clean,2 early cylinder heads (the type that have the pumps in the heads)8 new Silv-O-lite flattop aluminum 3 ring pistons with wrist pins,these are .040 over and will not work in this engine,14 Ford valves with guides and retainers,8 used pistons with rings,7 connecting rods,2 timing gear covers,oilpump drive gears and coverplate,1 extra rear main cap.pickup only in Central Fla.bring a truck and $99.00 and its all yours,all of these parts are clean ,not rusty crap.if you want call me in Fla.at 352-357-1763 call after 12pm E.S.T if you get the machine leave a message.i have posted this before and got a lot of response,but so far no one has showed up with the cash,must be bad out there if you can,t damn near give a Flathead away.thanks for reading all this,and thanks to Ford Barn.
