I have some early service heads that have 1940s casting dates. One is a ford script the other a universal parts co. Out of Chicago. These are correct for 1936 flatheads with dome pistons. 68-6050-B and 68-6049-B are the part numbers. These heads came from egge machine shop in Santa Fe springs Ca so they have been sitting on their shelves for many many years. They have some typical shelf wear but are in great shape. No cracks are warpage to worry about. $400. I can ship them anywhere in the lower 48 for $45. This a cheaper alternative if your building a 36LB engine and don’t want to spend the money on aluminum heads
