Found this while going through my recently deceased uncle's affects; I'm trying to raise money for expenses related to his death.

This is an ORIGINAL; not a plastic reproduction.

The knob is in excellent used condition; no cracks, 2-3 small nicks (less than 1 mm - see third and fourth pictures), a few minor scuffs and very minor surface scratches. For being 75 years old, and more than likely, actually used as a shift knob for a while, I'd say it's in great condition

From what I have found online:

Description - Ford gear shift knob in brown bakelite, with silver medallion containing Lone Star with "Ford" & "Dallas" and the years "1836" & "1936".

"These were only available on Ford vehicles sold in Dallas during the Centennial. One of the rarest and most desirable collectibles from the Centennial." -- www.texascentennial.com

I am asking $750. I know that's kind of high, but I am trying to pay down some of these expenses. I priced it high for someone who REALLY wants it, but I will certainly consider offers.

Again, this is an ORIGINAL; not a plastic reproduction.

Please ask questions here in this thread; send me offers through a private message.

I've received one offer. I'm bumping the ad to the top one time to give anyone else a chance.

Monday morning I will go with the best offer.
