1936 roadster side curtain sockets

Looking for information on how to remove and reinstall side curtain body sockets on my 36 roadsters. I know Drake sell a tool for the installation but I cant remember how to remove them. Thanks.

They are held in place by one wood screw. You have to remove the inside door panel to expose the screws.

I think he means the ones on the outside of the door that the push button snap connects to.

For side curtain sockets in the cowl, doors, and upper quarter panels, carefully pry them out with a putty knife using an old credit card to protect the adjacent paint.

Thank you for the information. I made a tool that is a little more robust than the putty knife with a thin piece of steel to protect the body surface. I'm going slow but they are coming out.
