1936 Radio on/off switch

If you have the head apart so you can see the little opening to the volume-on off switch, squirt some contact cleaner in on the works and work it a few times repeating the contact cleaner. There is a little spring loaded arm that swings over to make contact and it gets corrosion which many times can be cleaned with contact cleaner. The only other thing you can do is put a toggle switch on the power wire which is at best a half assed fix.
