1936 Pickup Dash

The ends of the dash are welded to both left and right pillars which can be carefully ground off. There may also be some attachment along the cowl where the dash meets the windshield, but I can't recall off the top of my head at the moment.

I removed one once out of a parts cab -- it wasn't as easy as Model 51 says.

Most likely you want to repair extra holes that have been cut into the dash face. Suggest you cut steel circles (or whatever shape) and weld them in. That is what I ended up doing without removing the dash.

I had all the extra holes in my dash repaired in place. I even had a replacement instrument cluster welded in since someone had hogged out the original holes and destroyed the mounting for the original gauges.
Now I remember there is also the cowl vent support bracket and spot welds on the upper edge too. Like melsb01 states, it's not an easy job.
