I'm starting to put my '36 PU back together and need help from a truck expert. The bottom of my hood sides come to the top of my inner fenders but do not over lap. Is this correct or should there be an over lap?

That is about where most of them stop. Give or take a fraction of an inch.

I have a problem with mine, same hood '36 truck. On the passenger side, at the molding, or hinge, it pops out, drivers side is fine, and I have tried loosening the center brackets to bump it over with no luck, it's not that big a deal, looks great everywhere else, all the handles latch, but still, it bugs me.
