1936 passenger gas tank capacity

What is the capacity of the original? A manual I have says 11 1/2 gallons. I see the replacement have from 14 to 16. Thanks Bruce
 
I know my '35's have a 14 gallon tank, and 36 had the same capacity. There are times on long distance trips where it would be nice having
a little more capacity/range between gas stops.
