This is an original Chrome Greyhound Mascot that was an accessory for the 1936 Ford on many of their different series. It is made to mount to the existing hood ornament and adds an excellent element of character via the Greyhound which was reserved for the Lincoln series. This is bolt on and go for any driver quality car and has the correct screw attached. Happy to email additional pictures if necessary. Please ask any question. I can ship this in a small flat rate priority box. These are rather difficult to find. Hope it can get reunited with a '36!

I don't want to tell you this , but the Greyhound is not an original. The originals had a "free standing" tail and the "male equipment" on the dog was very detailed. You have an aftermarket accessory.

That repo Greyhound is for a '35,not a'36. '36's have a longer base.The only original Ford Greyhounds are 1934 period and have the freestanding tail as mentioned byTJ.All the rest are aftermarket.
