1936 front fenders

Is there a difference between 1935 and 1936 front fenders? I am aware of the rear fenders! I seem to have two different fenders, one has much less of a ridge down the center and it does not seem to have been worked on too much. thanks

Look at the pictures of the respective fenders; the '36's have a separate "Horn Panel" while the '35's are one piece. Other than that, there are differences in contours and all kinds of other stuff. When I was a kid, I put a complete '35 front end on a '36, which worked out OK, but the "mix-'n-match" won't work.

The rear half of the front fenders resembles the back half of the rears. 35 dip downward and 36 crown upward like a pontoon. Also as mentioned , 36 are 2 piece and split at the headlight mount.

when working my front fenders for the 35 I noticed a difference in the crown also from left to right , maybe they were made from different presses. don't know, hard to tell difference now. Paul

Jim post a photo of both and we can give you a better answer to your possible problem. Remember our cars are 80 years old and could have been in an accident and repaired or replaced.

Sorry Guys, I don't know where my head was at when I wrote this thread. What I intended to ask is there a difference between the 36 5 window and a sedan front fender. One of mine is more bulbas and round on lower front and extends past the end of the bumper several inches further than the other side. The bumper is centered properly Thanks

As far as I know, all '36 car front fenders are the same. Don't know about commercial vehicles, but if they're different in size from passenger cars, maybe that's what you have.
