Hi too all
i've mislaid my owners manual and would like to know what the tyre pressures are for a 36 roadster please
Thanks
Neil

Max tire pressure is always found on the tire itself. Go by the tire manufacturer, not the car manufacturer.

The pressure stated on the tyre is the MAX, not necessarily the recommended pressure for that vehicle. The recommended value will probably be a lower figure.

In the absence of other info (which I'm sure will be along in a minute) I'd go for between 28 and 30 psi and reset once the factory figures are available.

Thanks for the info
found my little book
30psi front and back
I photographed the booklets a few years ago so here you are.
I'm after a 1951 Mercury one. if anyone knows where I can get one i'd appreciate it

30psi. There you go.

Just out of interest, do the tyres carry a max psi marking? If so, what is it?

Mart.

It has got BF Goodrich silvertowns 16" which have a max rating of 32lbs psi at 1400lbs.
I've had a couple of early Fords over the last 25 years and the 36 still stops me dead in my tracks.
32s may be worth more but the elegance of a 36 is unbeatable in my books.I drive mine a lot and there is nothing I don't like about it.
I love driving it in winter, turning the stewart warner heater on and the side curtains keeping the cold air out.no blankets over my knees just 3 on the tree and a columbia 2 speed to get me where i'm going
