1936 ford steering column/lock asm removal

Can someone please shed some light on the disassembly of the steering tube/column drop lock asm? I did a search and nothing came up. Thanks ken
 
The search is not the best, and there is not a good thread on 1936 column drops specifically. I'm finding that there are a couple variations of this drop, and they are different from the 37 through 40 drops in how they go together and secured.
