1936 Ford pickup radiator dimensions

I'm trying to fit everything back together for the first time on my 36 Ford pickup, but seem to have a fitment issue with the radiator. If I set the radiator on the mounts on the frame it seems that the radiator may be 1.5 to 2 inches to short. It also seems that fitment into the shell is not the best either. The holes along the sides will line up, but the 3 screw holes up top do not line up. Anyone have dimensions for both the 35 and 36 pickup radiators? If there was a dimension change between the 2 years then again I may not have the correct radiator.

First, 1935 and 1936 Ford pickup radiators are not the same. (as are grille shells) If you have a 1936, you will need a 1936 pickup radiator. I believe you should also have 2 mounting holes for the radiator at the front frame.
Hopefully Mr Rogers will share his knowledge on your question.

My plan is to mock it up this evening and take some photos so people can see what I am talking about. If people can see it they can help a little better.

Okay, so I was finally able to figure this out where I have never had this thing together. Not one part of this is from the original. Parts came from everywhere. The radiator was sitting about 1/2 to low, and my right fender bracket is bent out some. Once I get that straightened back up, and the correct motor mounts in I should be good. I will however have to get creative with the lower hoses as alignment is not optimal. The radiator must be from a truck I'm guessing. I am kind of thinking that lower hoses from a 52 to 53 Ford car may work. Grill shell still needs a little live for better fitment and then I should be good. Crossing my fingers!

I think you may be on to something with the '52-'53 lower radiator hoses. I'm no expert on them, but I do know quality 8BA hoses have an offset that fits the earlier cars quite well.

Here are photos of 35 and 36 pickup radiators showing The difference in the side shrouds. There is also a dimension drawing showing height and width measurements. The dimensions are basically the same for 1936.

Mine does not look like the 1st or the second one. It's almost a hybrid of the 2. If you go to the Brass Works website and look at the radiators there they almost look identical. Mine looks like the ones pictured there.

This is the reproduction unit from Brassworks, and my radiator looks identical to this one, except mine definitely was not built by them.

Did some more fit up this afternoon and I am now fairly certain this radiator has to be a 35, not a 36. If the fill neck sat nearly 1/2 more towards the front then this would probably work fine. I sat one of the good half on, and it overlapped on top of the grill shell. Now I need to see if someone would be will to trade a good 35 radiator for a 36 I guess.
