1936 Ford Interior Window Trim Question

Hello,

I have been a fan of 36's for a long time and recently had the opportunity to finally get one. I have noticed that some cars have an extra moulding attached to the window garnish moulding. I really like the looks of this.

Is this a deluxe only part?

Are they a part of the garnish moulding itself, or a separate piece?

Are they repopped and if so, who makes them?

What is the correct name for this part?

Thanks in advance,
Mitch

On my 37 they are a deluxe feature, they are separate. Have not seen a repo other then the plastic insert that goes in the trim. Would have to try as a wanted item on the swap meet. Zeke

They are not on the 35 but are on the 36 Deluxe. The 37 have a plastic insert in the center of this trim.

the 36 delux also came w/ 2 sunvisors, a 4 didget trip odo., different door handles in and out, stainless grill and w/s trim and horn grills, duel horns, duel tailights, water fall, banjo wheel, and in some cases the standard came with smaller tires and was only offered in 2 colors.

I have a nice pair that fit 5 windows, and fordors. the 3 windows and tudors are longer. I dont need the pair of shortys, pm me for sale of the pair.

Photo shows the trim piece below the window frame. Woodgrain on all.
