Hi Barners,
Are there any tricks to removing a 1936 Ford Radiator Grille?
Is there any order to remove the fasteners? Any special fasteners to watch out for?
Thanks,

Taking a 36 grill off is no problem. I had mine off pretty quick, but getting it and the hood back on with the correct gaps is way fun. Don't tighten up anything to tight until you see how it fits. May have just been my 36 but I had to hide my hammer and walk away several times before I got it back like it should be.

Leave the 2 bolts to the radiator loosely attached so the grill will "hang" until you get all the other bolts out. Unless your an orangutan, it's a 2 man job to reach up under the grill and hold the outside of the bolts/nuts.

Wedge a piece of wood across the fenders behind the radiator to keep them apart and it will be a lot easier when you go to reinstall the grill.
