I am in need of the right side passenger side horn and a battery cover to finish my car I dont ever seem to get any response from other members?? Bill

Well, generally speaking, your request should go in the "wanted section" of the swap meet header. As for the no response, I figure nobody is willing to part with what I need. I have also posted a wanted ad in the Model A section of this forum and was told "what your looking for is not for a V8 which I knew (and had successfully modified a part before and wanted to do again) but the SMART DONKEY knew more about what I was doing than I did so my ad was immediately deleted, which I didn't appreciate.

Hi Everyone, green guy, check this thread, posts #5 & 6, for info on a source for battery covers.

Because the batteries that are most commonly available today are about 1 inch taller than the original 2LF (group size?) batteries, the original covers don't work with the replacement batteries. So... Many of the covers were removed and never replaced.

The solution I'm pointing you towards will work with the newer batteries, so maybe killing two birds with one stone?

On the horn... I don't know if all '36's had two horns. I know in 1935 many cars had only one horn, it was one of the differences between Standard and DeLuxe.

are you looking for original battery hole cover??....if not, C&G in CA had the cover in their catalog....not sure if they still do, but it was reproduced....good luck....Mike
