1936 ford big truck radiator question

Working on a ‘36 truck for a customer. It came in pieces and I am just starting to test fit panels after lots of rust repair. The radiator does not have any mounting provisions for the grill. Is this normal or has somebody cut off the mounting area?

I have a good original 1936 truck radiator. Send me a Personal Message with your contact information and we can share pictures to hopefully answer your questions.
If I interpret your photo correctly, it looks like someone trimmed the side panels of the radiator for some reason.
