i need front panles that go between front fender and grille

i didnt fine any lb, but i did find a 3 with a circle around it. i looked up the number off of the ******, i says its a 1939-43 mercury. so im not shure if the motor is a 36 or newer. any help would be good

If I'm correct, the number on the ****** is for the ****** only. I don't believe there were any marks on the engine that would indicate year. However, it looks a lot like the engine in my '36 (location of water neck, etc.), which has been in the family since '42 and family knew the original owner. So, I'm fairly certain mine's original.
