1936 Cabriolet Windshield Removal

Trying to remove a badly cracked windshield. I have removed the bolts at the top under the header and the bottom under the dash. The top is loose but the bottom won't move at all. Is there something behind the top of the dash holding the frame in? Does the dash need to come out?

Any help would be appreciated.

Have no direct experience with this issue, but found the following by member Ken Bull in an old post:


"To get to the screws that hold the bottom of the 35/36 CABRIOLET windshield frame requires the Dash be removed as well as the header cover to get at the top scews. I hope nothing ever happens to my windshield or the frame I dont want to do that job again...ever".
