1936 Bumper Brackets

Hi Barners,
What was the finish on the 1936 ford Front & Rear Bumper Brackets?
Was it body color or Black? If they were painted Black, what Gloss?

Black as far as I know. I think semi-gloss, but I am not positive. At least that is how we do ours.
 
Hi Lawson,
The reason I ask is that mine are body color. I thought it was wrong but can't find mention in 35-36 Book. Is is Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Mat?
