Looking to find one of these for my coupe, or advice on trying to repair the one I have.
Thx Rudy
Used ones, while operational may be on the verge of stripping. It is possible to see most of the teeth without disassembly
The teeth on the wings are usually bad where the arms are in the retracted position. You must remove the drive pinion to be able to view this portion of the teeth.

I felt I was able to see the starting teeth good enough from the sides when the regulator was fully extended and the balance of the teeth when fully retracted. You can also judge the play between the pinion and teeth in various positions of extension.
