1935 Tudor

Tony,

That is a beautiful car!
====================================================

I agree, TonyG's '35 slantback looks super nice.

The black '35, in the pix you posted, looks very nice also, '35 slantbacks
have great style and the deluxe's have a very nice looking chrome grill.

If that car runs and drives good, and if the body is solid with most all
original sheet metal, especially solid original floors, than that car is worth
very close to his asking price, when the economy recovers.

Right now, with a weak economy, I'd make him an offer, you think, you
could live with right now, but that car will increase in value in the future.

Do you have a friend you can bring along, that has a good eye, to help
you look the car over, 4 eyes are better than 2, and a second opinion
don't hurt either, just incase you have rose color'd glasses on. ;)

You can't go wrong buying that car, if you like it, and if you can live
with the price (or close) you offer for it.......good luck. :)

I think Chris Christie said it best, about the State of the Union speech,
"That Was Story Time" ;)

yes Lanny ,,that was story time for idiots ! but lets keeps this thread on 35 slantbacks or it will dissapear like the story teller will someday I hope :D

I haven't had the chance to go back and look at the car. Work keeps getting in the way (stupid work...) I have a semi-retired co-worker who has car skills I could only dream of. He builds cars from frame up. I will try to take him to kick the tires.
