Hi - I am starting this thread for a friend who has too many projects and is now concentrating on motorcycles. If you have any questions I will get him to contact you directly if I don't already know the answer, as I do know the car. This car has been mechanically gone through and is a real hoot to drive. Engine is a 1936 LB block professionally rebuilt last fall and has about 50 miles on it. The work was done at GoDevil Garage and comes with the balance of the rebuilder's warranty. Same with the transmission, also rebuilt by GoDevil. New Walker brass radiator. New gas tank, gas lines, filler neck, brakes (original mechanical), kingpins, and exhaust system from end to end. Rebuilt steering box and all new steering linkage. New upholstery, 4 new Coker tires, new running boards and new top.

My friend is a very particular restorer and has done the rest of the work to excellent standards. The car stops like the day it left the factory, for what that's worth. The floor pan had to be hand fabricated and tailpan has been replaced as well, and they look great. Car needs a horn, headliner, floor coverings and interior panels installed. Needs gauges (speedo works), and three glass pieces have cracks. The paint is not perfect and the fenders have some paint loss and the grille needs some assistance at the bottom, but overall the car is completely solid. Can send more pics please PM me. I think it actually looks better in person.

Car starts easily and runs like a top. This thing really is a dream to drive. You could very easily finish this car and either enjoy it as is or paint it pretty, it's up to you. Car has been in climate controlled storage since purchased. I think this is a very good price for this car - cheaper than a Model A and goes faster!

Sorry about the sideways pictures - the ones I send in email will be rightside-up. My advice is to never buy an iPhone. This will be my last one.

Any interest or thoughts? This is a super drive-as-is car for very little money. He has more $ than his asking into it (don't we always?). I think this would make a great finishing project with a kid or grandkid - a cheap start into the hobby with a dependable-running car.

Still Available. I saw another one in comparable condition for $18500, except that the motor and trans weren't freshly rebuilt and it was not as nice. You could complete this one for less invested than that and have a new-running, new-stopping car.

Don't click the link on "motor" above it's a cheezy ad for nissan! Not sure what that is doing here - i'm personally offended
