1935 Truck Floor Question

Ok have a silly question. I attached a pic of the lower cab floor area above the wood blocks in the door opening. As you can see these are pretty shot. Can you order these to replace? I did order some new rockers but this is the piece the rockers are mounted too and it is shot. I am planning on installing a complete metal floor instead of going back to the wood. Will this be part of the metal flooring? I see you can order the torque box areas that bolt to the frame in the front also but did not see this "pillar" floor metal anywhere. Thanks for the help.

I haven't heard of anyone reproducing this area o the cab. You will probably have to fabricate it yourself.

Called sub-rails. No idea if anyone makes them. You can get the 33-34 sub-rails for the car bodies.

I just repaired the rocker panels on my 36 pickup, I thought they were in much better shape until I removed the cab and turned it over... If you want to do it right you need to remove the cab turn it over to really see the extent of the damage/repair as needed. It looks like you have some real corrosion to deal with. I'm not aware of anyone making the structural parts so you will need to fabricate your own.

There is a guy on the auction site that makes these. I will try to find you the link, he is very random, sometimes he has them listed, sometimes not.

Thanks Vanspeed. That would be great. 36and36 my plans are to do just that as I want to do an all metal floor in it as well. Just finding 35 truck parts are sometimes hard to come by or simply cost way too much. Haha
