1935 Pickup, door not opening

My pickup door handle, inside & exterior stopped working. THe exterior door handle now sits with no spring pressure, the interior is simalar. Both move up/down but do nothing. My window will only roll about half way down then come into contact.

My door wont open so access is not great.

Any trick to opening so I can do a repair?
 
Try rolling glass all thr way up. Might be able to see what’s up. If the remote is frozen unbolt it and remove from the latch. Then you can pry the latch to open. At least that’s what I’ve done on old fords
 
The main spring was broken, have one ordered. Common apprently, I will recieve the spring next week.
Appears metal tabs hold the latch together, I can unbend the tabs then install,
 
I had a similar problem in my 40 Pickup. But my door handle could unscrew from the outside. Once off I was able to hrind an old, large screwdriver to fit the square hole and jimmy it open. Once open you will have ti remove the window glass and riser ti get remove the door latch. Once out you can asses the problem. Hopefully you have someone close to you to deal with the spring tabs. I also went through everything while all was apart - more time now but better in the long run. Good luck ....
