Good morning to all. I rebuilt my generator some years back and it was putting out approx. 8.7 Volts. Now it's nothing. Anyone have a good rebuilt one for sale... else a good source for rebuild parts? Thanks to all!

just a head's up...

there is very little to go wrong with a generator other than worn out bearings and brushes. which is to be expected. similar to anticipating the replacement of tires and brake shoes. it was a regular maintenance issue BITD.

if time and money are a concern (and who am i to say that it is, right?) might want to take a look at that before investing in an expensive rebuild or purchase.

Glad to help if you'd like. You can ship it to me for repair or restoration. I can also install an internal Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR). This converts it to a automatically regulated 2 brush generator. No more over or under charging. I run one in my '35 Fordor.
