1935 Ford Pickup. Good driver and veteran of many Glidden Tours. "Not a Show Truck or Brand New". It has Hydraulic brakes, a 1946 Ford Truck 100 HP Flathead, a Chevy S-10 5 Speed transmission that makes it capable of Interstate Highway speeds. (The transmission was adapted with Speedway Motors kit and a rebuilt 1988 ******.) It Has fiberglass rear fenders, a new tailgate, new interior, a 40 Ford rear bumper, straight truck front bumper.
It's still 6 Volt with a alternator and has a spotlight. It needs a throw out bearing, (works but nosiy) a paint job to show it), brake work (40 Ford hydraulic's, work but could be better) and maybe some new tires. He has the original headlights too (Replaced for the sealed beam type.) It has some repaired area on the grill where the fenders attach.
Now that I've told you all that's wrong with it, don't fret. If you go to Kitty Hawk, NC to get it you won't be disappointed unless you expect a show truck.
Last trip was the Chrome Glidden Tour last fall. (About a 1300 mile trip) They drive it to and from the tours, it's not a trailer queen, it's a driver but still a good 20 footer. Car is in Kitty Hawk NC, $11,000
