1935 Ford Grille Repair

Hi All,

I have a 1935 Ford Grille that's got a little damage at the bottom, someone probably used a tow strap and it tightened up into the bottom of the grille and bent it up. A couple of the grille bars are missing down there, is there a source for replacements?

I was thinking about brazing or tig new ones in, does that sound like the right way to do it?

Thanks!

very possible, not the easiest to get perfect. my source was old grilles that were given up by others because of too much damage. if they are the curved ones on the bottom you may have to make a curved buck to form them, such fun, but rewarding, good luck!

Yes the curved grill bars at the low end are usually damaged on "Junk give aways" Best to follow oldbugger advice. If it is above your skill set there may be a Chrome shop that has contacts that can do it.
