1935 ford coupe hood

I got my halfs of the hood set on the car and got my chrome piece that holds both sides together at top. is there anything that goes up under neath where the hood come together at. there is a one half inch gap in between the hood halfs and there is a lot of holes drilled on both pieces up under neath there thanks bill

Bill, how wide is the chrome that holds the two sides together. Mine is about 3/4 wide and there is very little open on the bottom side, between the hood tops. If you could post some pictures that might help. Paul
