1935-40 Ford Frame ID number

I know that my 32 ID number is located on the left drivers side top of frame just in front of the cowl leg. Are the 1935-40 Ford Pickup trucks ID numbers located in the same area thanks Tom
 
Well, yes, kinda. The numbers were supposed to be stamped just rear of the front crossmember. In reality, that didn't always happen. Some have been found as far back as just forward of the dash panel (aka firewall).
Regardless of what was supposed to have happened, the numbers were stamped along the left frame rail somewhere between the crossmember and the foot of the dash.
 
Also, somewhere under the cab and under the bed on the top of left frame, so 3 locations. I have not been able to find mine, maybe because of frame sandblasting before I knew any better. Good luck with your project.
