What is the difference between a 1935 and a 36 Ford 1/2 ton PU cab? I bought just the cab and don't care which it is but would like to call it what it is!

The main difference is where the 'A' pillars meet the cowl, '35' has a sharp corner at the meeting point, while the '36' has a concave or a radius at the meeting point.

Early 35 had the sharp angle at the A pillar/cowl. That was changed sometime during the production year and late 35's used the curved angle there. Exact date of change is a little unclear at this point. Will do further research when we get back to the Archives in August.

The early 35's also had a trim ring around the inside door windows, the later 35's and the 36's had molded doors with a hand pull in the bottom of the window sill.

Here is a picture of my cab, supposed to be a '35 but SN is late '36 as is the LB V8. Can anyone post a picture of the other cab? Dick
