I have a chassis here that has an extended torque tube. The extension is between the transmission and the normal torque tube and rearend assembly. The second joint is mounted over a crossmember. Is that the way they made a longer running gear? I never looked at a long chassis before. I'd like to learn something new here today............Thanks

You have pictures? How long is the jack shaft? The regular wheelbase has about a 2' jackshaft, while the long wheelbase has about a 4' jackshaft. The mount over the crossmember is a little confusing.
