1934 FORD Thunderbird

I bet none of you have ever seen a 1934 FORD Thunderbird !
The story is, while at the 1973 National Meet of The Early V8 Ford Club, my late friend, Clay Miller bought this top for his "E" Bird at the Swap Meet. Since we were traveling in my 1934 Phaeton, the only way to carry it was on top of the phaeton.
A member of the Thunderbird Club, C.T.C.I., saw it and contacted The editor of the "V8 Times", Roger Neiss, and published it in the Thunderbird Club magazine, "THE EARLY BIRD".

That does make a good "What The???" kind of moment. As we all know, whatever it takes to get the parts home. :) Thanks.

Good question !
Well, we didn't go down the highway like that. We just drove from the swap-meet to the hotel. It wasn't far, but it beat carrying it by hand !
