I HAVE A 1934 FORD STEERING BOX THAT IS IN SAD SHAPE. When you turn the steering wheel the output shaft raises up. How hard is the rebuild. The car is an old hot rod and an after market steering box or a newer box will not make a big difference if they are a bolt drop in. I would like to keep the electrical switches on the center of the steering wheel. I plan to install a 49 to 53 flat head engine.
