1934 ford pick-up

Have 21 stud heads , 1932 to 1936 , with 5 studs on bottom. Where would you find access for water temp sensor? Newbie on flatheads.

There is none in the block or heads, but if you use a '35-'36 left side water pump it has that access in its casting. The original '34 accessory temperature/fuel gauge used a sensor that inserted into a hole added to one of the radiator hoses above the water pumps.
