Have questions on 1934 Ford Cabriolet recently purchased.
Is there a manual/video to answer questions?
Procedure for lowering the top; AM radio.
Thanks in advance for any help.

There are a couple of different AM radios, determine Mfg and style such as ash tray or glove box. I believe there are reprints of the operating and installation instructions.

Ford published top operating instructions for many of the open cars but not sure if 34 Cabriolet is covered. I know 35 Cabriolet is not. There are reprints.

There were no instructions provided for lowering the top on a '34 cabriolet or any of the other '34 open body types. It is pretty intuitive and best done by two people working together. The top material is always to be pulled rearward away from the folding top irons in order to end up with the lowest possible 'stack' in the well behind the front seat. The other reason for doing that is to reduce the chances of the top irons fraying the top material if that material caught in between folded top iron segments.

It's easiest to do with two people as it can be done with one on each side of the car. When I do it by myself I stand up inside the car with the top open half way and I lower it being careful to get the brackets on each side folding correctly. If they fold the wrong way they get jammed and its hard to get them strait when you are by yourself.
