1934 fluid

If you do a search you will come up with more than you can read in a few hours. I use 85-140W gear lube. The specs I have call for 140 EP (Extreme Pressure) in summer.
 
I use 90 weight gear oil for both. It's easy to find and hasn't caused any problems for me. The old specs from the '30s wouldn't be applicable today anyway, oils have changed a lot.
