That is the headlight switch contact plate. The headlight switch is located on the bottom of the steering box and is switched via a rod through the center of the column up to the control in the middle of the steering wheel with the horn button as well. Assuming your car has original ford steering box/column and not a HOT ROD modification. Check out the original ford 1933 wiring diagram for details or the drivers handbook. I can help you and am in Melbourne. Ph. (03)94393063. Kevin

This what he's talking about .

You need the complete light switch assy as well as the wire bail that holds it in place & the spring & spider & U-clip that fits on bottom of light-switch rod. These parts are the same from 29-34,maybe even up to 37.You will need the L-S rod from a 33 as I believe the 34 has a different length L-S rod.

does anyone sell these parts as original or repos?.as i would like to put this car back to original as possible

Martin, did you not see the phone number in my first post ?? I can direct you to the parts and information you require, here in AUSTRALIA. Regards Kevin.
