Looking for a little help........restoring a 33 Tudor, am replacing all new glass and window channels. I bought replacement kits which included lower window stops or bumpers,I have no idea where these go as I did not remove the old ones........any ideas out there? Thanks

I have a 32 truck which I think is pretty close to the tudor. If you roll the window all the way down, there should be a bracket that holds that rubber stop in the middle/bottom, where the frame that the glass sits in is attatched to.

I thought the 33-34 pass cars used a movable stop pin (positioned for various models) in the rollup mechanism to stop the downward travel of the window glass. And yes, I believe the trucks used a stop pad positioned at the bottom of the door for a stop. Maybe your kit was equipped to service all types???

fe, I put the back window kit in my 34, I never found a home for those stops. The back windows do come to a stop before the glass reaches the bottom of the rails. Ken

The triangular shaped brackets that were riveted into the door inner panels that held those stop bumpers were phased out of production during the latter part of the '1932 model year and a stop built into the regulator as indicated by Barn Junk took their place.
