1933 Ford Cabriolet pricing

I am in need for a fairly knowledgeable person to provide me some guidance on a marketable price range for my 1933 Ford Cabriolet rumble seat body.Let me begin by first stating that I was raped unmercifully in more ways than one by the person that I got this body from. That said here is what I have: very decent body with patch panels and floor installed by Donnie Smart. In general I would say the doors are decent but need a fair amount of TLC including inner and outer patch panels at the bottom. Don’t get me wrong - these doors are very savable. Doors have decent stainless glass surrounds but no glass. They have correct window risers but no latches or garnish strips. It has correct cabriolet dash but needs some repair along the top mounting lip. Moving on, it has a decent hood, very nice grille in primer (it has been dechromed) a savable pair of original rear fenders, a pair of reproduction steel front fenders. A pair of repro running boards, repro rear panel below rumble lid, repro gas tank cover, good gas tank. The body is rolling on stock front and rear springs and axles, 4 nice KH curved spoke wire wheels and 16” tires. No motor or transmission. I have a clear title in my name. There is no way under the sun that I can recover anywhere near what I have invested in this body. I just want to get a fair and reasonable price for it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please contact me by phone or email.

IMHO, in todays market what you have as described + what is needed to make a credible restoration (or nice mild street rod) is far less than what the realistic resale of the car will be.

What is left out of the equation is LOVE, and scrap (parting out) value. The running boards and grill are hard to find and fit all body styles... quick sell. The rest is all too cabriolet specific (or as with the floor and frame too foundational) and falls into the category of "hard to find... harder to sell". Only a few thousand to a scrapper, anything more and you have to find someone to fall "in love" enough where the price paid is not a realistic consideration to finishing the car.

Mike - it is really hard to assign any value to just a description. I would take and post as many pictures as possible - to really show folks the condition, the rough spots, the parts/accessories that go with it, etc.. Without all of that it is a total crap shoot on our end!
