1933 flathead identification?

The front cross member of your frame, where the motor bolts to the frame, where your radiator is mounted. The earliest of 1933's was 12" from bolt center to bolt center (from right to left or left to right. You pick). Very shortly after the beginning of production, that spacing changed to 19". IF you have the 1933/34 V8 Club restoration book, look at Section 3-4. IF you don't have it, the Early Ford V8 Club just did a run of about a "130ish" reprints...I would highly suggest that you buy one!!!
Thank You !

For years there were negative comments about the 1933/34 restoration book; it was decided that a new restoration book be printed. Years went by, and I never did hear if in fact one was completed and in print.

Is this run of about a "130ish" reprints that new restoration book? How do I order it?

Thank You! 47malone@charter.net

No Sir, the "re-print" is NOT the "updated" version (per se') that was in process.....however there have been a few additions to it (I believe by Don Rogers). There was such a demand for the book the Club decided to "reprint w/additions" to meet a current demand for the book. Available on the Early Ford V8 web site link below....top center.
