1933 Deluxe steering wheel

I recently picked up a 33 Ford sedan, I had to pull the steering wheel to paint the steering column/lock assembly, and discovered the steering is aluminum. It was a normal looking 33 wheel until i stripped the black paint off of it.
I was hoping someone could clue me in on what I have on my hands here?
thanks!

Does it have the finger grips on the back side of the wheel? if it does it sounds like some sort of a repo wheel.

He's got a picture over at the hamb, its solid aluminum with steel hub center cast in

The first photo, with traces of red is 35. Note the ribs around the perimeter. The 35 steering wheel is typically the metal frame covered with molded black rubber. This is a first for me to see one made of aluminum. 35 Ford is the only Ford wheel to have the ribs.

Try these? Is the first two a "repro" wheel then??

It is interesting that the subject wheel is missing the second key way groove that was adopted as a running change during the '32 model year to provide an alternate view of the instrument panel through the spokes of the wheel, a feature no doubt appreciated by short drivers.

To David's astute point on the steering wheel change shown very well here in the Francis DeAngelis book. NOTE the spoke position between the two with the subject 33 offering the more unobstructed view of the instrument panel

Notice that the keyway slot is not in direct alignment with the spoke of the wheel. The Ford wheels are or those that I have seen.
