Well it has taken years to find one, then have it prepped for paint. But the wait seems to be worth it. I always liked the look of a Potter trunk on the 33-34 sedan.
The latches were reproduced back in the 80"s I believe. No further info can be found on who or where they were done. Just need to get some material to line the interior of the trunk.

Yes, just needed to address some pin holes and make up the channel that the weatherstrip fits in to. Everything seemed to line up nicely. Many thanks for the assistance Paul!!!
I am happy with the final product.

Where did you get the weather strip?? I'm looking for hinges and latches also.

The weatherstrip that inserts into the channel I found online. The company is Steele Rubber Products, and the part number is 70-0066-73. It measures 3/8" wide where it inserts into the channel, 1/2" tall, and 3/4" wide. It shows a picture of it in their catalog. They will mail you a sample for free if you want to check it out before ordering.

As far as hinges go, they are tough to find. Someone back in the 80's reproduced them but I haven't seen anyone selling any.

My next issue is to find a material to line the inside of the trunk to prevent things from rolling into it and causing damage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks that helps me a lot, the inside of the trunk is good also the outside, just need the hinge and latches.
I will send for the gasket you mention and once again thanks For Your Reply and help.
