Can someone give me an indication of value for a 32 distributor.
Has pull out oiler, no tall coil but otherwise all complete with round rotor and correct bails for rotor caps.
Housing is very good condition.

I would guess about 300.00 dollars. I bought mine at a swap meet in 1971 for 20.00 out of a barrel of distributors.

The price on an original '32 V8 distributor would be some where around $1000.00, give or take $100. That is with no breaks, cracks or oxidation. Jim

Boys, I think the days of the $1000.00 distributor are gone. While this may be a desirable distributor, the number of units in rat holes on hoarders shelves exceeds the number of people that want them. Much of this pricing was hyped by the Ebay easy money revolution so before you start throwing figures around, think about how easy you would part with a $1000.00 in todays economy. The price is now determined by what the purchaser is willing to pay not what you think it is worth.

well said, dick.
30 years ago that was the only part i never found while trying to piece together an original `32 v8 engine.
extremely rare? ... yes.
extremely valuable? .... sad to say, probably not anymore.

There are reproductions! originals are still expensive. as xix32 said he was unable to find one 30 years ago, what about now, there are even less of them to be had, especially original excellant condition.
