I not sure what side my exhaust goes, as my 1932 ford V8 is right hand drive and when I try fitting the exhaust it hits the bottom of my steering box, all parts on my car are orignial, do I need to look for a right hand drive cross over pipe and run the exhaust down the other side of the chassis ,
If so where can I find one
Thanks

Unlike on '32 fours, '32 V-8 exhaust system routing was dictated by the location of the steering gear, i.e. routed on the right for LHD and routed on the left for RHD.

I have an extra NOS RHD crossover pipe.

I also have a rhd crossover, and the 'head-pipe', which is routed on the left side. My parts are used, and came off a 33 - I'm not sure if that is the same for 32. (I'll betcha David would know.)

bobH,

As you surmised, unfortunately all of the '32 exhaust system components (except for one clamp) are unique and not interchangeable with the '33-'34 components.
